  • Red Mango makes state debut at Galleria at Fort Lauderdale

    Fort Lauderdale, Fla. -- Yogurt purveyor Red Mango said it will open its first Florida mall location at The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale.

    The new location will be near Dillard’s on the upper Palm Court level. The Broward County mall is anchored by Neiman Marcus, Macy’s and Dillard’s.

  • Iron Hill to open at Voorhees Town Center

    Voorhees, N.J. -- Philadelphia-based Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust said that Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant will open its 10th location at Voorhees (N.J.) Town Center in winter 2012/2013.

    This will be the second Iron Hill in southern New Jersey.

  • Tuesday Morning to relocate to Ventana Village

    Tucson, Ariz. -- Commercial Retail Advisors said that Tuesday Morning will be relocating a store to the neighborhood center Ventana Village.

    The new, 10,000-sq.-ft. Tuesday Morning store is slated to open on Aug. 1.

    Ventana Village is anchored by Bashas' Marketplace.
     

  • SkyVue Las Vegas Observation Wheel completes first phase

    Las Vegas -- SkyVue, a 500-sq.-ft. observation wheel taking shape on the Las Vegas Strip, across from Mandalay Bay, has completed the first phase of construction, and has begun excavation on its retail and dining components.

    Each side of the wheel will feature a 50,000-sq.-ft. LED screen (the largest in the world), that will host concerts, sporting events, product launches and more. The two-story shopping and dining experience will feature 140,000 sq. ft. of retail space, a 21,000-sq.-ft. convention facility and a food court.

  • Survey: E-mail, QR codes retailers’ preferred marketing tools

    Washington, D.C. -- With more than 60 million Americans forecast to own a tablet computer by the end of this year, retailers say tablets are driving an increasingly larger share of their web revenue. According to the 2012 Shop.org/Forrester Research Inc.’s State of Retailing Online survey, 49% of retailers say their average order value via a tablet is now higher than traditional web sales. Nearly three in 10 (28%) retailers say they are seeing about the same average order value from tablets as their website.

  • Sam Walton display recieves $1 million for renovation

    Walmart and the Walton Family Charitable Support Foundation have teamed up to donate $1 million to fund the renovation and expansion of the current Sam M. Walton College of Business display, honoring Walmart’s founder, Sam Walton. Each organization donated $500,000 to update the display in the Business Administration Building on the University of Arkansas campus. 

  • MIZCO International launches line of tablet accessories

    MAVENEL, N.J.  — MIZCO International has introduced an entire line of universal tablet accessories under the company’s DIGIPOWER, iEssentials, and Travelocity brands. All of the new accessories, according to MIZCO president and CEO Albert Mizrahi, are designed to work with both the Apple iPad as well as Android based tablets.
     

  • Davaco expands operations into Canada

    Dallas -- Davaco announced that the company has set up an operational division in Canada that can support global consumer brands with multi-unit programs in every province throughout Canada.

    Davaco established its office near Toronto in 2011 to service immediate client needs, and is now available to provide services for additional clients in the growing Canadian marketplace.
