  • Tide looks to clean up in NFL draft

    CINCINNATI — Tide will get in on the 2013 NFL Draft action by offering an endorsement deal to the first player drafted to each of the 32 NFL teams, in celebration of their new colors. 

    Tide will also reward fans with a gift delivered via Twitter by each of the contracted rookies during the first and second rounds of the draft. The rookies will also ask the fans to share what team colors mean to them by tweeting out using hashtag #AboutOurColors.

  • Walmart to help customers jumpstart weight loss

    FORT WASHINGTON, Pa. — Walmart will exclusively offer the 5-Day Nutrisystem Jumpstart Your Weight Loss Kit at nearly 2,000 stores.

    The new 5-Day Nutrisystem Jumpstart Your Weight Loss Kit, including 15 entrees plus desserts, a free meal planner and program guide with access to free weight loss counseling, can be purchased in-store for $44.98. There is also a 5-Day Nutrisystem kit designed for people losing weight to help manage their diabetes available in the pharmacy section of select stores.

  • J.C. Penney selling Martha Stewart-designed goods while court battle rages

    New York -- A Monday report by Reuters said that J.C. Penney has begun selling the Martha Stewart “JCP Everyday” lines of home goods, without waiting for a decision from the New York court.

    According to Reuters, Penney general merchandise manager Paul Rutenis testified in New York State Supreme Court on Monday that "as of today, those products are on the floor and online."

  • HTC smartphone hits RadioShack shelves

    FORT WORTH, Texas — RadioShack has stocked its shelves at locations nationwide with HTC's most recent flagship smartphone, the HTC One.

    To celebrate the launch, RadioShack will give a $50 Google Play credit to anyone who buys the smartphone at one of their participating locations by June 1. Consumers can also take advantage of the company's Trade & Save Program, which allows them to trade-in their old phones for as much as $300 toward the new phone and accessories, depending on the phone model. 

  • Walmart brings a bit of Disney to its paint aisles

    Walmart has rolled out a new line of Disney paints and specialty finishes available exclusively at select Walmart stores.

    The Disney Paint line consists of “112 exclusive colors grouped into three palettes, with imaginative Disney-themed names, designed to give parents and children options at every stage, from infant to tween,” said Jason Stewart, director of softlines product development for Disney Consumer Products.

    Lowe's has released its Corporate Social Responsibility Report Card, which covers education, environment and more.
