  • ChannelAdvisor to provide holiday e-commerce insights on webinar

    RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. — Global e-commerce software provider ChannelAdvisor is hosting a webinar to help retailers prepare their e-commerce operations for the upcoming holiday season.

    Hosted by ChannelAdvisor CEO Scot Wingo, the webinar, titled "The Top Ten Essential Holida To-Dos for Online Retailers," will offer retailers 10 must-dos in order to capitalize on increased online shopping during the holiday months.

  • Clorox targets Hispanic market with new cleaning line

    OAKLAND, Calif. — Clorox has launched a new line of products designed to appeal to Hispanic scent preferences and unique approach to cleaning. The Clorox Fraganzia line of products is available now at major national retailers and consists of three products designed to imbue the Hispanic home with welcoming, clean, fresh scents. They are: a multi-purpose dilutable cleaner, toilet bowl rim hanger, and aerosol air freshener.

  • Macy’s wins preliminary injunction against Martha Stewart

    New York -- Macy's on Friday won a preliminary injunction against Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia that would prevent it from selling some of its products at the chain.

    Macy's Inc. sued Martha Stewart Living in January after J.C. Penney acquired a 16.6% stake in Martha Stewart Living and announced plans in December to open Martha Stewart mini-shops beginning next year. Macy’s said that it had exclusive rights to certain categories of the Martha Stewart brand until 2018.

    MINNEAPOLIS — Target is once again bringing Black Friday to the summer, this year expanding the sale to two full days, July 20 to 21. Target will also hold its first-ever Summer Cyber Week sale from July 22 to 28, featuring daily deals on Target.com for must-have products such as electronics, apparel, baby gear and more.

    New York -- Lord & Taylor has entered into an exclusive partnership with Lifetime’s Project Runway for the television shows’ tenth anniversary season.

  • Darden Restaurants to acquire Yard House USA

    Orlando, Fla. -- Darden Restaurants announced that it has agreed to acquire Yard House USA, Inc. for $585 million in an all-cash transaction from private equity firm TSG Consumer Partners LLC. Yard House operates 39 restaurants in 13 states.

    The brand will become part of Darden's Specialty Restaurant Group, which includes The Capital Grille, Bahama Breeze, Seasons 52 and Eddie V's.
