Amazon's summer beauty event returns – this spring
Amazon has spring sales fever.
In an email to Chain Store Age, a spokesperson for Amazon announced that for the third-straight year, the online giant will be hosting its Summer Beauty Event. The sale will occur during what is becoming an exceptionally busy spring for Amazon – Monday, April 28 at midnight PT through Sunday, May 11 at midnight PT.
The extravaganza ends on Mother’s Day and will run concurrently with the Amazon Mother’s Day Shop promotion, which began in March and ends Mother’s Day.
Spring is proving to be a busy season for Amazon sales promotions, including a dedicated Father’s Day storefront through Sunday, June 15. And the Amazon Book Sale returns April 23–28, offering what the retailer says are its best book deals of the year.

In addition, for the fourth straight year, Amazon will mark National Pet Month in May with a 48-hour sales extravaganza. The company also ran a seasonal Easter Hub that included temporary Easter storefronts on its e-commerce site from several name brands.
In late March, Amazon kicked off its observance of spring by offering seasonal deals across more than 35 categories in its second annual Big Spring Sale.
The beauty promotion features thousands of beauty and wellness products on sale for up to 35% off from brands including Armani Beauty, Belif, Biodance, Clinique, Dolce & Gabbana Fragrance, Estée Lauder, Kiehl’s, Kiko Milano, Kitsch, Lovewellness, manscaped, Medicube, Nature’s Bounty, Olaplex, Ritual, Saturday Skin, Tula, Viktor&Rolf, Vital Proteins and ZitSticka.
During the first week of the event customers can also shop daily category deals:
- Monday, 4/28: up to 40% off makeup.
- Tuesday, 4/29: up to 30% off skincare.
- Wednesday, 4/30: up to 30% off haircare.
- Thursday, 5/1: up to 40% off fragrance.
- Friday, 5/2: up to 35% off men’s grooming.
- Saturday, 5/3: up to 40% off health & wellness.
- Sunday, 5/4: up to 35% off body care.
Amazon will offer more daily deals during the second week of the event from Monday, May 5 - Sunday, May 11. Ahead of the event, Amazon customers can shop a variety of beauty and personal care deals and essentials.
Prime members will be eligible for fast, free shipping on every order during the promotion. Amazon has also hosted the Holiday Beauty Haul — a two-week autumn early holiday shopping event for beauty customers — for four straight years, most recently in October-November 2024.
