Amazon, Walmart to host spring savings events

Amazon's Big Spring Sale is returning.

Spring is returning, and so are major seasonal sales promotions from two of the biggest U.S. retailers.

For the second straight year, Amazon is running its Big Spring Sale. From Tuesday, March 25 to Wednesday, March 31, 2025, the online giant is offering seasonal deals across more than 35 categories.

And in an email to Chain Store Age, Walmart announced that it will host an online-only "Super Savings Week" on its website and app from Monday, March 24 to Tuesday, April 1. The promotion will offer deals on items across categories including home, patio, fashion, and electronics.

Walmart debuted an omnichannel Super Spring Savings Week event in March 2024 that overlapped with the Amazon Big Spring Sale. Meanwhile, Target recently announced that it is bringing back the spring version of its Circle Week spring sales blockbuster for members of the Target Circle loyalty program, starting Sunday, March 23.

Following are highlights from the upcoming Amazon and Walmart spring sales events:

Amazon Big Spring Sale

The Amazon Big Spring Sale will feature discounts of up to 40% off select items across categories including apparel, beauty, and home. It will also offer themed daily deal drops including brands such as Samsung, Hydro Flask, and Bumble and bumble; as well as end-of-season deals from the Amazon outlet store

While all customers can shop the sale, members of the Amazon Prime paid subscription program will obtain discounts on additional items. A "Prime Spring Deal" badge will identify exclusive savings only available to Prime members.

Amazon is also currently providing a seasonal Easter Hub with discounts on traditional holiday items such as toys, candy, Easter basket stuffers, apparel, and brunch ingredients. Brands including Laura Mercier, The Ordinary, Paula’s Choice, Tula Skincare and InBloom by Kate Hudson are running seasonal Easter storefronts on the Amazon e-commerce site.

In addition, Amazon is offering 50% off purchases from Amazon Haul, a dedicated section of its U.S. e-commerce site and shopping app that offers products with what Amazon describes as "ultra-low" prices of $20 and under with typical delivery times of one to two weeks, for a limited time.
