    Babies"R"Us is showing some love to expectant mothers by hosting baby showers for military moms-to-be for the third year in a row.

    Babies"R"Us has provided more than $500,000 to the Operation Shower organization through grant funding and in-kind donations for the past three years of the partnership.Operation Shower is an organization that hosts baby showers for military moms-to-be as they experience the journey of pregnancy while their spouses are deployed.

    Dallas - Corner Bakery Cafe is focusing franchising efforts in the Southeastern markets of Birmingham; Charleston; Charlotte; Columbus; Jackson; New Orleans; Raleigh; and Tampa. Corner Bakery Cafe is looking for best-in-class franchise operators who have relevant multi-unit restaurant/retail experience in the market to be developed.

    In targeting the Southeast region, Corner Bakery Cafe, which has more than 390 locations in development commitments, plans to strengthen its presence.
     

  • Toys'R'Us targets the 'Blaze' craze

    Toys”R”Us is looking to excite toy shoppers with an all-new assortment of toys from Fisher-Price based on the hit Nickelodeon show, “Blaze and the Monster Machines.”

    The show features the heroic monster truck, Blaze, his 8-year-old driver, AJ, and many other characters helping preschoolers learn Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) concepts. The Toys line of road-ready vehicles, die-cast and plush are available only at Toys"R"Us stores nationwide and Toysrus.com, now through the end of July.

    Leaders from the toy and baby products industries came together with celebrities in New York City to celebrate the 2015 Toys“R”Us Children’s Fund Gala and raise an astounding $4.6 million for kids.

    Emmy and Tony Award-winning comedian Martin Short hosted the event, which also featured a performance by four-time Grammy winner Lenny Kravitz.

    New York - Macy's will once again run its "American Icons” omnichannel promotion, from May 13 – July 4. The campaign will kick off with #AmericanSelfie, a social media initiative inspiring customers to share photos of what America means to them.

  • PetSmart hosts national adoption weekend

    Spring is in full swing, and PetSmart wants its customers to celebrate new beginnings by adopting a new pet.

    The retailer will be hosting a national adoption weekend between May 15 and May 17 at all PetSmart stores. More than 3,000 animal welfare organizations will be on-site at all 1,400 PetSmart stores in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico to help customers find the perfect furry companion.
