Early access and 10% off gift cards at Target
Customers at Target are being given expanded opportunities to engage with the retailer this holiday season thanks to extended hours and early access to promotional offers.
Target kicked off its holiday promotional cadence on November 10 with early access to Black Friday deals for one-day only. Next up is a promotional initiative for those who download the retailer’s Cartwheel app. They will be given access to additional Black Friday deals between Nov. 23 and Nov. 29 and can receive 50% off a different toy every day. The company’s REDcard holders will continue to receive an extra 5% off all of their purchases. Following those efforts, Target will hold a pre-sale on Wednesday Nov. 26 with a 6 p.m. store opening on Thanksgiving evening.
“We know our guests are pulled in a million different directions as the holidays get underway, so we’re helping them save time and money by offering more access to Black Friday deals,” said Kathee Tesija, Target’s chief merchandising and supply chain officer. “Whether shopping online, on their phone or in our stores, Target’s guests will find Black Friday deals on top gifts throughout November. And to deliver even more savings, all Target.com orders ship for free until December 20.”
As for Black Friday weekend, Target said deals will be available on Target.com Thankgiving morning and then stores will open at 6 p.m. that evening. In addition to a long list of featured items, Target this year is offer a 10% discount on its own gift cards.
