Men’s Wearhouse designer adds dot com presence

The Joseph Abboud brand has launched an exclusive new collection at JosephAbbound.com and in early 2015 the brand plans to open its first physical store thanks to parent company Men’s Wearhouse.



Abboud joined Men's Wearhouse as the retailer’s chief creative director in December 2012 and the following year Men’s Wearhouse acquire the clothing brand’s parent company JA holding Inc. Abboud recently re-launched his label, re-establishing the brand as a sophisticated modern-American lifestyle collection with prices considerably higher than the assortment found at Men’s Wearhouse stores.



The roughly 200 items featured at JosephAbboud.com are exclusive to the site and include garments with custom details such as luxurious weaves, unusual finishes and unique linings. Tailored clothing pieces within the collection are hand signed and numbered by Abboud.



"This exclusive offering is more innovative in its choice of fabrics, color palettes and finishing details giving it a sartorial edge. This collection is my expression of the new American man, a true style evolution," Abboud said.



Pricing is at a premium to the Abboud branded items found at a typical Men’s Wearhouse store. For example, prices for suits range from $695 and up with sport coats starting at $295. Dress shirts begin at $95.



In addition to product, the new site features a blog written by the designer that features style tips, behind-the-scenes insights and inspirations for his collections. The product is available for international shipping and complimentary domestic ground shipping on all orders, including free returns. The website includes express check-out and PayPal options for purchase ease.
