  • Hulen Mall launches multi-million-dollar renovation project

    Fort Worth, Texas -- Chicago-based General Growth Properties announced that Hulen Mall, in Fort Worth, Texas, will undergo a major interior facelift and renovation beginning Monday, May 23.  

  • Village of Rochester Hills adds to tenant roster

    Rochester Hills, Mich. -- Birmingham, Mich.-based Robert B. Aikens & Associates LLC announced the addition of two new tenants, Portrait Innovations and Flat Top Grill, to its Village of Rochester Hills lifestyle center project in Rochester Hills, Mich.  

    The Village of Rochester Hills Portrait Innovations location, which opened May 10th, is the company’s eighth store in Michigan.  Flat Top Grill will replace Baja Fresh as one of the center’s nine eating establishments. 

  • Forest City names new regional president in Texas

    Cleveland, Ohio --Forest City Enterprises, Inc., announced the creation of a new leadership position to support the company’s growing presence in the Texas real estate market.  

    Effective immediately, Brian Ratner has been promoted to president of Forest City Texas and will lead the company’s Texas operations from its regional office in Dallas.    

  • Cushman & Wakefield appoints retail services leader

    New York City -- Cushman & Wakefield announced that Matthew Winn has been appointed senior managing director, U.S. Retail Services Leader. He will be based in Cushman & Wakefield’s Atlanta office.

    Previously, Winn served as managing director for Cushman & Wakefield’s retail consulting group. 

  • Daffy’s opens store in Bay Plaza Shopping Center

    Bronx, N.Y. -- New Rochelle, N.Y.-based Welco Realty Inc., an X Team partner, announced that Daffy’s opened its first store in Bronx, N.Y.  

    The retailer opened a store in Bay Plaza Shopping Center, one of the largest strip shopping centers in New York City. Welco Realty negotiated the deal on behalf of the landlord, Prestige Properties & Development Co.  

  • Coyote Management names Lakeshore Mall GM

    Addison, Texas --Coyote Management, L.P. announced that Michael Carey will join Coyote Management starting June 1 as the new General Manager at Lakeshore Mall.

    Carey comes to Coyote Management, L.P. with over nine years of experience in the shopping center industry. He began his career with Stein Mart, then spent nine years with CBL & Associates.

  • Samuels & Co. completes 5 deals for Merlin Entertainments

    Los Angeles -- Samuels & Co. Inc. said it has recently completed five transactions for Merlin Entertainments Group, the second largest location-based entertainment company in the world which develops, owns and operates outdoor theme parks and indoor attractions.  

  • Just Sports Collectibles opens at Voorhees Town Center

    Voorhees, N.J. -- Philadelphia-based Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust announced that Just Sports Collectibles has opened at Voorhees Town Center, in Voorhees, N.J.

    The new store is the retailer’s second location – its first in a mall – and features more square footage and an expanded product line.
