  • Paster announces six new tenants at Twin Cities shopping centers

    St. Paul, Minn. -- Paster Enterprises announced Wednesday that six new tenants have been secured at the company’s projects throughout the Twin Cities area. 

    New tenants include Massage Elements, V4U, Home Choice, Broadway Pizza, National Karate and United Family Medicine.

  • Stella McCartney to debut in SoHo with new store

    New York City -- Cushman & Wakefield announced that Stella McCartney, the fashion and accessories retailer and daughter of Paul McCartney, will open a new store at 112 Greene Street between Prince and Spring Streets, in the SoHo area of Manhattan.

    The opening is planned for the fall.

    Stella McCartney will occupy approximately 5,200 total sq. ft. between the ground floor and lower level in a 10-year lease.

  • Planet Fitness opens at Delta Center

    Lansing, Mich. -- Centro Properties Group said that Planet Fitness recently opened a 22,950-sq.-ft. location at Delta Center, directly across from Lansing Mall, in Lansing, Mich.

    New York City-based Centro owns Delta Center.
     

  • Commercial Retail Advisors names new associate

    Tucson, Ariz. -- Commercial Retail Advisors said it has hired Derek Gersdorf as a Retail Specialist.

    Gersdorf's duties will include retail leasing and retail tenant representation. Prior to joining Commercial Retail Advisors, he worked as a residential appraiser in the Phoenix and Tucson regions for Casa Grande Appraisal Service and Forsythe Appraisals.
     

  • Gap to open new store in Westport

    Westport, Conn. -- SRS Real Estate Partners announced that Gap has leased 17,448 sq. ft. at 125 Main Street in Westport, Conn.

    The transaction represents a consolidation of all of Gap brands (Gap, Gap Kids, Gap Baby) into one location and a new long-term commitment to downtown Westport, according to SRS.

    The landmark redevelopment of 125 Main Street is well underway with Gap, a planned expansion and long-term lease renewal with Brooks Brothers Women and additional retail and boutique office space.

  • Dick's Sporting Goods opens in former Fortunoff location

    White Plains, N.Y. -- SRS Real Estate Partners announced Tuesday that Dick’s Sporting Goods has leased 58,750 sq. ft. at “The Source” in White Plains, N.Y.

    The Dick’s Sporting Goods lease represents the first step of the redevelopment of the former Fortunoff store, directly adjacent to The Westchester Mall. “The Source” is also occupied by Whole Foods Market, The Cheesecake Factory, Morton’s, Destination Maternity and a planned Raymour & Flanigan.

    The new store opened in April.

  • PREIT names retail leasing directors

    Philadelphia — Philadelphia-based Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust (PREIT) announced that it has hired two new directors of retail leasing— Peter Elliott and Amy MacLaren.

    Both will be responsible for the leasing of regional malls and retail relationships with key national tenants.
