  • Boynton Beach Mall announces new retailers and CCS south Florida debut

    Boynton Beach, Fla. -- Indianapolis-based Simon Property Group announced that its Boynton Beach Mall property recently welcomed eight new local retailers to its tenant lineup and has also announced the South Florida debut of CCS, a national skate and extreme sports concept store from Foot Locker, to open later this year.

    Additionally, several national retailers are in the process of renovating and updating existing locations at the regional shopping mall.

  • Terranova and Freshberry ink third long-term deal

    Miami Beach, Fla. -- Terranova Corp. announced that self-serve frozen yogurt concept FreshBerry has signed on to a long- term deal for an 1,800-sq.-ft. space in El Mercado Shopping Center, in Hialeah, Fla.

    El Mercado is a Publix-anchored center with additional tenants such as Anna’s Linens, GNC and Pollo Tropical.

    FreshBerry has also signed on to join Parkhill Plaza, in Miami, in a long term 1,600-sq.-ft. deal. Parkhill Plaza is a Winn-Dixie-anchored center.

  • Jos. A. Bank opens at Willow Grove Park

    Willow Grove, Pa. -- Philadelphia-based Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust said that Jos. A. Bank has opened at Willow Grove Park, in Willow Grove, Pa.

    The 4,465-sq.-ft. store is located next to Bloomingdale’s and joins other men’s fashion collection stores Men’s Wearhouse and Tux, Express, J. Crew, Banana Republic and Guess.

  • Two new tenants lease retail space at Suncoast Crossing

    Brooksville, Fla. -- Jacksonville, Fla.-based Regency Centers said it has leased retail space to two new tenants in Brooksville, Fla., at Suncoast Crossing.

    Sprint has leased 1,750 sq. ft., and Gia’s Cakes & Goodies has leased 1,400 sq. ft.

    Both are slated to open this summer.

    The 260,000-sq.-ft. shopping center is anchored by a 142,000-sq.-ft. Target and a 98,000-sq.-ft. Kohl’s alongside national retailers such as Supercuts and McDonald’s.
     

  • Hell’s Kitchen’s Island Burger to open its second location on Upper West Side

    New York City -- Winick Realty Group announced that Island Burgers & Shakes, the 15-year-old burger restaurant in Hell’s Kitchen, has signed a lease for its second Manhattan location at 422 Amsterdam Avenue, between 80th and 81st Streets on the Upper West Side.

    Island Burgers & Shakes will occupy 700 sq. ft. of ground-floor space, as well as a 500-sq.-ft. basement, when it opens later this year.
     

  • Fameco opens office in Philadelphia

    Plymouth Meeting, Pa. -- Fameco Real Estate is opening an office in Center City, Philadelphia, to better accommodate the growth of its clientele in the market.

    Fameco will be fully operational in the center city office at 1425 Walnut Street in early June. Fameco partners Jeffrey Cohen, Brandon Famous and Rick Schuch will spearhead this new initiative.

  • Rhaposdielle to open at Galleria Commons

    Henderson, Nev. -- New York City-based Centro Properties Group said that Rhaposdielle will open in Henderson, Nev.
           
    The new 12,544-sq.-ft. store will debut at Galleria Commons, which is owned by Centro.

  • D’Lites Emporium to open at Mayfair Shopping Center

    Commack, N.Y. -- North Plainfield, N.J.-based Levin Management Corp. said that frozen dessert company D’Lites Emporium will open a new location at Mayfair Shopping Center, located in Commack, N.Y.

    The 1,280-sq.-ft. store will join other food offerings in the center such as Outback Steakhouse, Ciao Baby, Good Taste Buffet, Bagel Boss, Kosher Market & Deli, and Original Brooklyn Pizza.
