Bon-Ton closes an upstate New York store

York, Pa. Bon-Ton Stores plans to close its store in the New Loudon Center in the northern New York state town of Latham by the end of September.

The leasehold interest ends Sept. 30.

In May, Bon-Ton said its first-quarter loss narrowed on a mix of higher sales and lower costs. Revenue rose 2% to $675.2 million.
