  • Careland Pharmacy, Brooklyn, New York

    Careland Pharmacy is a new drug store that mixes a contemporary look with playful references with an old-fashioned service philosophy.

     Located on the ground floor of a landmarked building, Carleland offers prescription and over-the-counter medications, along with toiletries, beauty supplies, toys, and stationery. With a tagline of “We take care seriously,” the pharmacy also offers free home delivery, vision testing, pharmaceutical compounding and flavoring services. There is a drop-off box for prescriptions on the exterior for on-the-go customers.

  • Connected Solutions (Sears), San Bruno, California

    Sears's new “Connected Solutions” flagship is located at The Shops at Tanforan, a shopping center in San Bruno, California. The 4,000-sq.-ft. store is designed to simplify the way people shop for their connected home.
     
    Designed as rooms of a home, the store features a living room, kitchen, nursery, workout room, garage and outdoor area where consumers can experience first-hand the benefits of smart technology.   It is organized in four categories: Simply Entertaining; Simply Fit; Simply Automated; and Simply Secure.
     

  • Flying Tiger, New York City

    Flying Tiger, the U.S. banner of Danish discounter Tiger, has landed in Manhattan, opening a 5,000-sq.-ft. outpost in the Flatiron district. The store has a modern Scandinavian look, with white walls, light wood flooring and a single aisle that winds through the space. The design focuses all the attention on the quirky, eclectic and very affordable product.

  • Charming Charlie, New York City

    Jewelry and accessories retailer Charming Charlie has opened its largest store yet, a three-level, 16,000-sq.-ft. flagship on Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue. Designed in partnership with Callison Architects, Seattle, the store features a two-story, 30-foot tall glass façade and 20-ft. tall double doors in the brand's signature vibrant pink lacquer.

  • Jins Eyewear, San Francisco

    Jins Eyewear, one of Japan’s largest eyewear brands, opened its first-ever U.S. store, in San Francisco's Union Square neighborhood. The 4,900-sq.-ft. space features more than 1,200 different styles of Jins' exclusive frames.
