Activism, yoga classes and free repairs are all on the menu at Patagonia’s new outpost in Manhattan’s Soho neighborhood.

The 14,000-sq.-ft. store features a “Worn Wear” station where staffers repair Patagonia products. The station is part of the company's global repair program that fixes tens of thousands of garments per year keeping them out of landfills. A 3,500-sq.-ft. community workspace is designed as an area where environmental non-profits can meet and hold events. Free weekly yoga sessions are offered each week on Sunday morning.

In keeping with Patagonia’s environmental ethos, reclaimed materials are used throughout the space. The cash-wrap was created from reclaimed marble steps and pavers from the sculpture garden at the Museum of Modern Art. The materials had been in storage for over a decade since the renovation of the museum. Tables, fixtures and beams throughout the store are made with reclaimed longleaf pine from the historic Domino Sugar Refinery.

Six hand-stitched and embroidered quilts, each one based on famous climbing routes and topographical maps, adorn the store. An alpine bivouac installation pays tribute to Patagonia’s climbing roots.
