  • PetSmart’s holiday gift: Free same-day deliveries

    As the online shopping window is closing for traditional home delivery, PetSmart is offering free same-day shipments until Dec. 24.   The service is available in 17 metro areas across the nation, including Boston, Los Angeles, Orange County, San Francisco, San Jose, Las Vegas, Atlanta, Miami, Seattle, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., New York City, Yonkers and Northern New Jersey. Overall, the same-day deliveries will cover nearly 2,500 ZIP codes.   
  • PetSmart expands with new concept stores

    PetSmart continues to grow its store portfolio — and is also testing new formats.    The chain opened 20 stores across the U.S. and Canada for the quarter ending October 31, 2016. This adds to the 23 stores it opened in the first and second quarters, bringing the total number for the year to 43 new locations.   
  • Pet supplies giant hits store milestone; working on new test store

    As PetSmart continues to expand its brick-and-mortar presence across North America, it also is working on its next generation store.    The company opened its 1,500th store, in Sheridan, Colorado. One of approximately 80 new locations the retailer is opening in 2016, the 18,000-sq.-ft. Sheridan store offers a full line of pet supply products along with pet training and adoption services and a full-service grooming salon.  
  • PetSmart taps Fitch for new store design

    PetSmart is working with retail and design consultancy Fitch to develop a new store environment.   The test store will open in Highland Ranch, Colorado, in fall 2007, and will bring a fresh, new and engaging customer experience to the pet retail marketplace, PetSmart said.    
  • PetSmart reaches store milestone

    PetSmart continues to expand its brick-and-mortar presence across North America.   The company has opened 1,500th store, in Sheridan, Colorado. The location is one of approximately 80 new stores the pet specialty retailer is opening in 2016 in new markets as well as in convenient locations in current markets.
