  • Anthropologie to open at Town Center Plaza

    Kansas City, Kan. -- Beachwood, Ohio-based Developers Diversified Realty Corp. said that Anthropologie will open an 11,202-sq.-ft. store at Town Center Plaza, a 626,000-sq.-ft. lifestyle center located in Leawood, Kan.

    The new store is slated to open this summer.

    In 2010 at Town Center Plaza, Victoria's Secret relocated and expanded to a new 7,200-sq.-ft. prototype store, Bath & Body Works expanded into a 3,267-sq.-ft. space, and The Limited executed an agreement to open a 4,595-sq.-ft. store in the spring.

  • Kenneth Cole closing eight stores

    New York City -- Kenneth Cole Productions is closing its flagship store in Rockefeller Center and eight other stores this year, the company disclosed in a regulatory filing, according to Crain’s New York.

    Located in a major tourist hub, the Rockefeller Center spot has been on the market for more than two years, according to real estate brokers, the report said. Kenneth Cole has occupied the 13,000-sq-ft. for about 10 years.

  • T.J. Maxx to open at Lagniappe Village

    New Iberia, La. -- Centro Properties Group said that T.J. Maxx will open a 24,035-sq.-ft. store at Lagniappe Village, in New Iberia, La. 

    New York City-based Centro is the owner of Lagniappe Village.

  • Sports Clips to open at Ocean View Plaza

    San Clemente, Calif. -- Centro Properties Group said that a 1,198-sq.-ft. lease has been executed with Sports Clips at Ocean View Plaza, in San Clemente, Calif.

  • Hawthorn Hills Square launches redevelopment

    Vernon Hills, Ill. -- Beachwood, Ohio-based Chase Properties announced that Hawthorn Hills Square in Vernon Hills, Ill., is being redeveloped to coincide with the opening of Dick's Sporting Goods (December 2010) and PetSmart and Five Below that are expected to open in the spring. Additionally, Noodles will be opening a new freestanding restaurant at the center in the fall.

  • Report: Anchor Blue to liquidate

    New York City -- Teen specialty retailer Anchor Blue has closed its headquarters and is in the process of winding down operations at its 120 stores, Women’s Wear Daily reported.

    Based in Corona, Calif., Anchor Blue is owned by private equity firm Sun Capital partners.

  • Family Dollar opens at Brice Park

    Reynoldsburg, Ohio -- Centro Properties Group announced that a 15,426-sq.-ft. Family Dollar recently opened at Brice Park, in Reynoldsburg, Ohio.

    Centro Properties Group, based in New York City, is the owner of Brice Park.

  • Five new tenants to open at Paster centers in the Twin Cities

    St. Paul, Minn. -- Paster Enterprises said that five new tenants have been secured at the company’s projects throughout the area. New tenants include Furniture CLW, No Box TVs, Chickadee’s House, Anytime Fitness and Wilson’s Leather Outlet.

    In Crystal Shopping Center, a 370,000-sq.-ft. community center, Wilson’s Leather Outlet will open a 3,171-sq.-ft. store. In Lexington Plaza Shoppes, a 26,747-sq.-ft. neighborhood center, Chickadee’s House will open a 1,332-sq.-ft. bird enthusiast store.
