Hhgregg to open in three PREIT properties

Philadelphia Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust announced that Hhgregg is slated to open in spring 2010 at three PREIT power centers -- Christiana Center in Newark, De.; Paxton Towne Centre in Harrisburg, Pa; and Wyoming Valley Mall in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.

The new store openings are part of the Indianapolis-based retailer’s East Coast expansion.  

“The opening of the new Hhgregg locations at Christiana Center, Paxton Towne Centre, and Wyoming Valley Mall complements our current roster of national retailers and expands shopping options for the local communities,” said Joseph Coradino, president of PREIT Services, LLC and PREIT-Rubin.

Hhgregg is currently operates 118 stores in Alabama; Florida; Georgia; Indiana; Kentucky; North Carolina; Ohio; South Carolina and Tennessee.
