  • Tanger Outlets publishes in style

    Tanger Outlets is bringing its celebration of spring fashion directly to shoppers.

    The Greensboro, North Carolina-based operator of 42 upscale outlet shopping centers with two under construction is releasing its seasonal TangerSTYLE magazine. TangerSTYLE features brands including J.Crew, Banana Republic, and Cole Haan. The magazine is available free at Tanger Outlets locations, as well as online and via the Tanger Outlets mobile app.

  • Overstock partnership to offer exclusive merchandise

    Overstock.com is partnering with fashion company Andrew Charles on an exclusive line of home goods and fine jewelry.

    “We are excited to announce this exclusive partnership, and to offer our customers these original products,” said Overstock.com President Stormy Simon. “Andrew Charles is a beautiful line, and we are looking forward to adding it to our designer collection.”

  • H&M launches garment 'rehaul' with M.I.A.

    H&M is joining forces with one of the most influential urban artists in music on a campaign with appeal to many of today's fashion shoppers.

    From April 18 to April 24, H&M aims to collect 1,000 tons of unwanted garments from customers in its more than 3,600 stores worldwide. The initiative is part of H&M’s goal to close the loop in fashion by recycling garments to create reusable textile fibers.

  • Saks Off 5th comes to Canada too

    Less than a month after Hudson’s Bay Company brought Saks Fifth Avenue to Canadian shoppers, the company this month is opening the first of 25 planned Saks Off 5th stores.

    Three new Saks Off 5th stores are scheduled to open on March 17 in Vaughan Mills, Halton Hills and Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. The openings will allow Canadians to experience the ultimate "thrill of the hunt" shopping that Saks Off 5th is renowned for, with access to the some of the best brands and fantastic finds, in a fun to shop store format,” according to the company.

  • Amazon goes to the movies to promote Prime

    Amazon will be promoting its growing portfolio of original content available to Prime members on 20,000 movies screens after reaching a multi-year agreement with National CineMedia.

  • Whole Foods Market expanding solar in a big way

    Whole Foods Market has partnered with national solar providers NRG and SolarCity to substantially increase the number of rooftop solar units on the company’s U.S. stores.

    The retailer aims to install up to 100 additional solar rooftop units on its stores. If the goal is reached, the project has potential to be among the 25 largest commercial rooftop solar installations in the country.
