  • Two new outlet projects to be developed

    Indianapolis -- Simon Property Group Tanger Factory Outlet Centers announced Wednesday a joint venture to develop two new upscale outlet centers in Charlotte, N.C., and Columbus, Ohio.

  • RCS Real Estate Advisors retained to facilitate Forever Flawless rollout

    New York -- RCS Real Estate Advisors said it has been retained by Bella Terra Cosmetics to help facilitate the rollout of Forever Flawless mall locations throughout the U.S.

    As part of an initiative to expand the Forever Flawless luxury skin care brand, RCS will be selectively identifying and pursuing 1,500- to 2,000-sq.-ft. real estate opportunities within the best malls primarily in California, Florida and Texas.

    Forever Flawless products are currently sold in seven locations throughout Las Vegas, Miami Beach and Nantucket.

  • Hot Topic announces test of new retail concept

    City of Industry, Calif. -- On the heels of its Wednesday report that the company gained just 0.2% in October same-store sales, Hot Topic Inc. also announced plans to test a new store that will specialize in dark, edgy lingerie.

    Called Blackheart, the concept will target the company’s core teen customer and will debut with five stores in southern California and Texas malls as well as online offerings beginning in mid-November.

     

  • Togo’s plans to add 25-30 locations in Oregon

    San Jose, Calif. -- Togo's is aggressively targeting Oregon for expansion. The sandwich chain has fueled its development plans based on recent success of its Oregon franchisees.

    The company aims to open 25-30 restaurants throughout Oregon in cities such as Portland, Eugene, Hillsboro, Bend, Medford, Salem, Klamath Falls, as well as Vancouver, Wash., over the next several years.

     

  • BFC Partners to build outlet retail/hotel complex on Staten Island

    New York -- BFC Partners, a New York real estate development company, announced plans to develop a new retail complex and hotel, with the working name of Harbor Commons, on a site adjacent to the Richmond County Bank Ballpark in St. George, Staten Island, N.Y.
     
    Harbor Commons will be an approximately 350,000-sq.-ft. retail complex along with a 120,000-sq.-ft. hotel, totaling 470,000 sq. ft. The retail complex will be comprised of approximately 100 designer outlets along with a variety of restaurants and cafes.
     

  • Disney Baby opens its first store

    New York -- The Walt Disney Co. on Thursday will open its first store under the Disney Baby banner, USA Today reported. The new store is located in Americana, an upscale shopping center in Glendale, Calif.

    “This gives Disney the opportunity to reach out to moms when magical moments begin," Bob Chapek, president of Disney Consumer Products, told USA Today. "There's no more special occasion than the birth of a baby."

  • 7-Eleven TV taps Premier Retail Networks as exclusive ad sales representative

    San Francisco -- Premier Retail Networks LLC and Digital Display Networks Inc., creator and operator of 7-Eleven TV, announced a multi-year agreement under which PRN will be the exclusive advertising representative for 7-Eleven® TV. The agreement is effective immediately.
     
    Under the new agreement, PRN will offer brands the opportunity to reach 100 million viewers monthly on 7-Eleven TV, America's largest single chain digital out-of-home network installed in approximately 4,400 locations.
