Best Buy offers deals, services for late holiday shoppers
Customers who didn’t get their holiday shopping done during Cyber Week have several options available at Best Buy.
The consumer electronics giant, which kicked off the holiday season with a 48-hour flash sale in late September and hosted an early Black Friday sales event before Thanksgiving, isn’t finished targeting seasonal shoppers. Best Buy is running several additional holiday promotions for customers who still have items to check off their gift lists:
- Apple sales event: Through Thursday, Dec. 11, Best Buy offers deals on Apple technology items including Mac computers, iPad, AirPods, Apple Watch, and iPhone,
- Three-day sale: Friday, Dec. 12 through Sunday, Dec. 14, customers can save up to 50% on products including TVs, laptops, video games, and small appliances.
- Last-minute savings event: On Monday, Dec. 15 Best Buy will provide special discounts on technology items such headphones, tablets, video games, and toys.
- Friday doorbusters: Best Buy offers doorbusters every Friday during the holiday season, with what it says are some of the best deals on this season’s hottest technology items. Members of the My Best Buy Plus and My Best Buy Total loyalty programs can earn up to $25 in bonus rewards when they shop select doorbuster items.
The retailer is promoting its holiday offerings across TV, digital and social media platforms with a multifaceted campaign. Influencers and content creators will figure prominently in its marketing efforts, as will "Gram" its spokeshologram.

Holiday delivery deadlines
Customers can order by 10:30 a.m. local time on Tuesday, Dec. 23 for free next-day delivery on select products and by noon local time on Wednesday, Dec. 24 (Christmas Eve) for free same-day delivery on select goods. In-store and curbside pickup for orders made by 5 p.m. local time on Dec. 24 will be available until 7 p.m. that day.
Stores will close at 7 p.m. local time on Dec. 24. Digital gift cards will be available on the Best Buy e-commerce site and app on Thursday, Dec. 25 (Christmas Day).

- Price match: If the price of products sold by Best Buy goes lower during the holiday season, the retailer will match it under the Best Buy holiday price match guarantee
- Extended store hours: Best Buy is offering extended store hours, with specific details available on local store webpages.
- Return and exchange: Best Buy’s extended holiday return and exchange policy means most gifts purchased between Oct. 31 through Dec. 31 have an extended return period through Thursday, Jan. 15, 2026. Best Buy Plus and Total members have an extended return period through Saturday, Jan. 31, 2026, for most purchases.
- Gift ideas: A holiday gift ideas page on the Best Buy site offers curated gift lists based on interests, budgets, trends and more.
- AI gift finder: An AI gift finder tool on the Best Buy mobile app provides personalized recommendations by sharing who you’re shopping for and their interests.
- In-store showcases: A partnership with Meta offers customers an expanded in-store shopping experience with AI glasses to all locations, as well as immersive showcase areas and expert support for technology in more than 50 stores.
