Target Corp. is focusing on value and exclusive products to attract price-sensitive shoppers this holiday season.

The discounter, which also revealed plans to hire 100,000 seasonal workers, will jump start its holiday promotions by hosting another edition of Target Circle Week, from Oct. 6-12. The event, which is exclusive for members of the company’s free Target Circle loyalty program, will offer deals on products to help consumers prep for the holidays, along with savings on fall favorites, everyday essentials and more. The deals will be automatically applied at checkout in store or online.

The retailer is also bringing back its “Deal of the Day” program, with new one-day-only deals available each day of Circle Week. It will also return Nov. 1 through the rest of the season for Target Circle members.

Target said its holiday assortment will include 50% more new items than last year.  More   than half of the assortment will be exclusive to the retailer.
