Kohl’s is offering holiday deals across channels.
Kohl’s Corp. is unveiling an omnichannel holiday marketing campaign that includes leading-edge social media and metaverse components.
The department store retailer’s campaign, “More Gifts. More Savings.”, utilizes several social media networks, including the TikTok short video platform. Timed to the period between Cyber Monday and Christmas Eve when shoppers can earn Kohl’s Cash rewards every single day, TikTok users will be able to add a custom Branded Effect ad highlighting Kohl’s Cash in their TikTok content.
In addition, to highlight Kohl’s and Sephora deals during the Black Friday timeframe, Kohl’s will leverage a new TikTok interactive add-on with its TopView ads which appear at the top of customers’ TikTok feeds, prompting users to shake their phone to reveal a surprise deal.

On the Pinterest platform, Kohl’s will offer new, curated gift lists from content creators that will share their own shoppable gift lists and holiday deal tips. Kohl’s is also providing a metaverse experience for Facebook and Instagram users, who can use a gamified augmented reality (AR) lens to choose items to purchase with Kohl’s Cash.
Throughout the holiday season, Kohl’s social influencers will provide gifting, outfitting, savings and decorating advice. The retailer also says customers will discover other ways to interact with each other via social media during the holiday season.
Other holiday offerings include:
- The new Kohl’s Build-a-List Sweepstakes provides a fully shoppable digital list. Customers who create and save their Kohl’s Build-a-List will be entered for a chance to win a $250 gift card through Wednesday, Dec. 7. Customers you share their gift list on Instagram, Twitter and/or TikTok with #KohlsBuildAListSweepstakes, will earn 10 additional entries.
- Kohl’s will again sponsor Freeform’s “25 Days of Christmas” holiday programming. New for 2022, Kohl’s has added properties to the plan, including The National Dog Show on Thanksgiving Day and the World Cup soccer tournament.
- Kohl’s Rewards loyalty members who use their Kohl’s card will earn 7.5% Kohl’s Rewards on every purchase every day, and Kohl’s Rewards members who choose an alternate payment method will receive 5% Kohl’s Rewards.
Kohl’s joins other retailers in kicking off holiday deals in October
Kohl’s is rolling out its omnichannel holiday campaign following the launch of its holiday savings offerings in early October. Through Christmas Eve, customers will find items on sale or an offer at Kohl’s every single day. Also new this year, Kohl’s began offering deals on toys every week in October, lasting through December. The company’s holiday toys assortment features more than 100 exclusive-to-Kohl’s items.
