  • Nordstrom launches Topshop and Topman

    Seattle -- Nordstrom announced it has begun selling the trendy British fashion brand Topshop and Topman at 14 select Nordstrom stores across the country and on its website. Merchandise deliveries will be made on a weekly basis, with an expanded collection available online.

    In addition, the Topshop make-up collection will launch in select stores and online in late 2012.

  • Macy's campaign channels sitcom fun

    NEW YORK — Macy's is paying homage to the TV sitcom with its new, "What's in Store?" campaign.

    The campaign, which debuted on Sept. 10, will consist of a series of comedic shorts featuring new Macy’s Herald Square store manager, Harold, as he collides with the many stars and wacky situations that make the “World’s Largest Store” a haven for the fun and fashionable.

  • Nine West opens new retail concept

    New York -- Nine West has opened the first standalone store for its Vintage America Collection line. The store, in New York City’s SoHo neighborhood, reflects the modern bohemian ethos of the brand.

  • Walgreens launches loyalty program with online sweepstakes

    Deerfield, Ill. -- Walgreens said that customers can begin online enrollment into its new customer loyalty program, Balance Rewards. Customers who join online before the official program launch on Sept. 16 will have a chance to enter the chain’s 10 Million Point Giveaway sweepstakes.

  • Toys'R'Us looks to scare up sales with new 'boo'tiques

    WAYNE, N.J. — Halloween has arrived at Toys"R"Us. The retailer has launched Trick“R”Treat “boo”tiques in its stores nationwide and online. The designated shops will feature the usual assortment along with an all-new, affordable line of classic Halloween fashions for infants, toddlers and big kids called Boo!, available exclusively at Toys“R”Us stores nationwide.

    THe Boo! line will include bumble bee, monster, pumpkin and other popular customes ranging in price from $14.99 to $29.99.

  • Hershey sweet on college hoops

    The Hershey Company extended and expanded its NCAA Corporate Partner agreement through 2016.

    The leading North American chocolate company said it extended its NCAA Corporate Partner agreement with CBS Sports and Turner Sports and signed a new sponsorship deal with IMG College that will give the company a larger presence within collegiate sports.
