    NORTHFIELD, Ill. — Kool-Aid’s latest brand campaign, called "Smile. It's Kool-Aid," introduces a new look and feel for the brand as well as for its spokespitcher, Kool-Aid Man, in time for its launch of Kool-Aid Liquid Drink Mix.

    Owned by Kraft Foods Group, North America's fourth largest consumer packaged food and beverage company, Kool-Aid partnered with Saatchi & Saatchi New York and VSA Partners of Chicago to revamp its image.

  • Wanderful connects shoppers with local retailers

    LOS GATOS, Calif. — Wanderful Media, an online local discovery shopping company, has revamped its existing collection of digital circulars and re-launched it as an online community that drives shoppers to local retailers. 

    Called Find&Save, the online community gives shoppers access to all the latest sales in their areas and gives them the tools they need to connect with other shoppers and help them keep track of what they need. Shoppers can access Find&Save remotely via tablet, mobile or web.

    HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. — Kmart and Shop Your Way are teaming up with New York Times bestselling author Sandra Lee to support the Share Our Strength Bake Sale for No Kid Hungry campaign. The national fundraising initiative encourages people to host bake sales in their communities to help end childhood hunger in the United States.

  • Things get Pinteresting at Barnes & Noble

    NEW YORK — Nook Media, a subsidiary of Barnes & Noble, has launched a new Pinterest app on Nook HD, Nook HD+, Nook Tablet and Nook Color. 

    Nook Media seeks to leverage the popularity of the social media platform to keep existing users engaged as well as draw in new ones. Pinterest will come preloaded on all new devices, along with Twitter and a new Facebook for Nook app. Existing customers will be able to download the Pinterest and Twitter apps free from the Nook Store. 

  • Frigidaire, Hhgregg want customers to get organized

    INDIANAPOLIS — Frigidaire and Hhgregg are encouraging customers to get more organized through a special sweepstakes offering daily prizes and Frigidaire’s french door refrigerators through April 27.

    Throughout the sweepstakes a $100 gift card will be awarded daily. Frigidaire french door refrigerators in 28 cu. ft. and 27 cu. ft. sizes will be awarded to the grand prize and first and second prize winners, respectively.

    Walmart has teamed with Rogers Media to create a new print and digital property called Walmart Live Better that will be distributed for free in Canada.

    One million copies of the magazine hit the market this week and the content is also available in a variety of digital formats.

    Walmart marketing executives shared new insights on the company’s price comparison advertising campaign and other outreach efforts this week during a presentation at the 12th annual Shopper Marketing Summit.

    Clint McClain, senior director of marketing communications platforms, and Ken Mantel, senior director of marketing, shared the stage during a presentation that shed light on how to work with Walmart on select marketing initiatives in a media landscape that is being rapidly transformed by digital alternatives.
