    During the 2016 Super Bowl, Domino’s experienced considerably higher than usual order volumes across all channels - social, mobile, Web and in-store payments. Yet Domino’s avoided the embarrassment of any slowdown in order processing (as well as the Noid) in any channel.

    Brad Maiorino, Target senior VP and chief information security officer, is the newest member of the Retail Cyber Intelligence Sharing Center (R-CISC) board of directors.

    R-CISC is an organization of more than 50 members representing retail and other consumer-facing companies which provides a network to communicate about cyberthreats and vulnerabilities, and to share best practices in data protection and breach mitigation.

  • Ahold, Delhaize set shareholder meeting dates to decide merger

    Ahold and Delhaize Group on Monday announced that they have called Extraordinary General Meetings for March 14, 2016, during which their respective shareholders will consider and vote on the proposal to approve the companies' intended merger.

    Ahold has also made publicly available the prospectus included in its F-4 registration statement, which has now been declared effective by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and its approved EU prospectus. These are required steps in the process of completing their merger.
