Target bringing back ‘Circle Week’ sales extravaganza for spring
Target Corp. is once again hosting a spring sales blockbuster exclusively for members of its free-to-join Target Circle loyalty program — with a twist.
The sale returns the week of March 23-29, offering seven days of exclusive deals and up to 40% off for Target Circle members. The promotion will feature savings on spring items including apparel, patio furniture, home essentials, beauty products, grocery items, toys, books, movies and music, both in-store and on the retailer's e-commerce site. The "Deal of the Day" feature will also return, with unique deals available each day of the event.
For the first time, members of Target's paid membership program — Target Circle 360 — will be given 24-hour early access to select deals on March 22, the day before the official kickoff of the week-long promotion. Also, for a limited time, consumers who join Target Circle 360 receive a 50% discount on a one-year membership. (The program includes unlimited same-day delivery from Target, access to a curated marketplace of other retailers and grocers via Target’s Shipt delivery subsidiary and free two-day shipping on eligible items.)
As a limited-time perk, eligible Target Circle members can get access to the NBC-owned Peacock Premium streaming service at no additional cost for three months. This deal is available until March 29, 2025.
In addition to the March event, the company has held July and October versions of Target Circle Week.
So far, the summer and fall Target Circle Week events have come roughly at the same time as Amazon’ summer and fall extravaganzas for members of its Prime program, and in March 2024 Amazon hosted its first-ever Big Spring Sale. The online giant has not yet said if it will do so again this year.
"We are thrilled to celebrate the one-year anniversary of Target Circle 360 with our best Target Circle Week yet," said Cara Sylvester, executive VP and chief guest experience officer, Target. "Target Circle members will receive the biggest deals on thousands of items from the latest in spring style to everyday favorites that are always on the checklist, and they can get even more perks and exclusive early access by joining Target Circle 360. Our team is incredibly excited to welcome new members to our stores and app during Target Circle Week."
Minneapolis-based Target Corp. operates nearly 2,000 stores.
