Yelp, Angi, Square, Expedia integrate with next-gen Amazon Alexa model
Amazon is linking the latest iteration of its Alexa artificial intelligence voice assistant to digital service and ratings providers and a mobile payment platform.
Starting in 2026, the online giant will integrate its Alexa+ voice-enabled AI technology with Yelp, Square, Angi, and Expedia. Introduced in early 2025, Alexa+ combines more than 70 large language models and agentic capabilities, supported by the Amazon Bedrock platform on Amazon Web Services.

Customers will be able to book hotels, request quotes for home services and schedule hair salon appointments among other services through Alexa+’s agentic capabilities. Details of each integration follow:
Yelp and Angi home services
Integrations with Angi and Yelp will expand the number of home services available to customers via Alexa+. Angi, formerly called Angie's List, helps homeowners find and hire professionals for a range of home projects, and customers will be able to search, find, and request quotes by asking.
With Yelp, Alexa+ will surface business reviews and local home services by searching its database of local businesses. Amazon intends for Alexa+ to replace the multistep process of browsing websites, comparing options, and making phone calls to book home services with a single voice conversation.
Customers can ask Alexa to find a service provider, comparing options in a 10-mile radius based on pricing, reviews, and availability. The integrations with Angi and Yelp will support a variety of professional services including handyman, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, cleaning, moving and hauling, pest control, HVAC, appliance repair, and more.
Square – beauty and wellness
Alexa+ is teaming up with Square to allow customers to discover local beauty and wellness providers in Square’s network, including spas, hair and nail salons, and barbershops, and more. In addition to gaining visibility into scheduling availability, users will be able to make, manage, and reschedule appointments with service providers directly through Alexa.
Expedia - travel
These integrations will start to come to Alexa+ in 2026, with continuing evolution of how customers discover and book services with further scaling of Alexa+ capabilities.
