Target Circle Week offers discounts up to 50%.

Holiday shoppers keep getting more opportunities to score big deals during the first half of October.

Following in the footsteps of the Walmart Holiday Deals event (Oct. 8-13) and Amazon Prime Big Deal Days (Oct. 8-9), Target, Lowe’s and Wayfair are all hosting early holiday sales promotions in the weeks preceding Halloween. A summary of each event is below:

Target Circle Week

Exclusively for members of the retailer's free-to-join Target Circle loyalty program, the promotion will feature deep discounts up to 50% on thousands of items, including Halloween costumes and candy as well as holiday gifting items like toys.

"Our October Target Circle Week is our biggest sale of the fall and gives our members the best of Target, so they can stock up on everyday essentials while discovering new trends and inspiring some early holiday shopping," said Cara Sylvester, executive VP and chief guest experience officer at Target. "Target Circle is free to join and an easy way for our guests to save time and money every time they shop, and with seven days of deals on thousands of items, there's no better time to become a member than during Target Circle Week."

In addition to thousands of Target Circle Week deals, Target's Deal of the Day will run Oct. 6-12, with new one-day deals exclusively for Target Circle members each day. Consumers can use the Target app to discover new daily deals throughout Target Circle Week. Deal of the Day will also return Nov. 1 through the rest of the holiday season for Target Circle members.

Lowe’s

Lowe's will run its inaugural My Lowe’s Rewards Week promotion from Oct. 10-16. This member-only event will offer MyLowe's Rewards loyalty program members what the retailer says will be the biggest deals of the year, with up to 40% off hundreds of items across categories such as appliances, home décor, holiday items, kitchen and bath essentials, and paint, in-store and online.

"We're thrilled to launch MyLowe's Rewards Week as a special way to celebrate our members," said Jen Wilson, Lowe's senior VP and chief marketing officer. "This event marks an important step in our maturation of our loyalty offering and recognizes and rewards our members for the 'big deal' they are to us."

Members who spend $50 or more in a single transaction will also earn $5 in MyLowe's Money (to be issued in the form of 500 points). Non-members can join the program free to participate in the sale.
