Target, Lowe’s, Wayfair kicking off holidays with October extravaganzas
Lowe’s
Lowe's will run its inaugural My Lowe’s Rewards Week promotion from Oct. 10-16. This member-only event will offer MyLowe's Rewards loyalty program members what the retailer says will be the biggest deals of the year, with up to 40% off hundreds of items across categories such as appliances, home décor, holiday items, kitchen and bath essentials, and paint, in-store and online.
"We're thrilled to launch MyLowe's Rewards Week as a special way to celebrate our members," said Jen Wilson, Lowe's senior VP and chief marketing officer. "This event marks an important step in our maturation of our loyalty offering and recognizes and rewards our members for the 'big deal' they are to us."
Members who spend $50 or more in a single transaction will also earn $5 in MyLowe's Money (to be issued in the form of 500 points). Non-members can join the program free to participate in the sale.

Wayfair
Wayfair, which already hosted a "Black Friday in July" sale this year, is holding its second “Way Day” three-day sales extravaganza of the year Oct. 5-7. Way Day will offer discounts on more than one million items with free shipping site-wide. Way Day runs online and in-store across Wayfair's AllModern, Birch Lane and Joss & Main banners, with additional exclusive deals available for Wayfair Professional members.
New flash deals will drop every 24 hours. A preview of some items that will be on sale is available here.
"As the holidays near, we know our customers are focused on creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for gatherings with family and friends," said Jon Blotner, chief commercial officer, Wayfair. "That's why we're thrilled to announce our second Way Day of the year, offering deals across every style and category. Whether you're looking to refresh your living room, stock up on kitchen essentials, or add a few festive touches, we have unbeatable savings on top-selling items for every room in your home."
