Stitch Fix expands AI style visualization capability

Stitch Fix Vision
Stitch Fix Vision has new features.

An online personal styling service is building on the success of a artificial intelligence tool that helps customers see personalized imagery of outfits.

Initially launched in beta by Stitch Fix in October 2025, Stitch Fix Vision is a style visualization tool based on generative AI. With Vision, customers receive personalized images of themselves styled in recommended looks and trends.

Stitch Fix Vision shows customers their likeness in a variety of styles and settings and proactively delivers a weekly drop of new looks and outfit ideas. Customers can now use the solution to create images of themselves in recommended looks.

The feature is available throughout the Stitch Fix Freestyle experience that provides personalized curated assortments, wherever outfit recommendations appear. To use it, customers navigate to their outfit of choice and select “See it on me.”

Customers gain access to Stitch Fix Vision by uploading a selfie through the Stitch Fix app. Once uploaded, they will receive their first set of personalized images. All images, including new “See it on me” results, are saved in each client's Vision gallery, creating a personalized library of style suggestions.

Other personalization tools Stitch Fix has offered include “Style Tune Ups,” a feature offering personalized outfit recommendations based on the trends from Stitch Fix's 2024 Style Forecast, along with curated "outfit of the day" Spotify playlists.

In addition, Stitch Fix has rolled out Stylist Connect, a two-way communication platform that lets customers chat directly with stylists, and family accounts that make personal styling services accessible to an entire household.

"Personalization has always been at the heart of the Stitch Fix experience, and we're building toward a future where clients can see themselves reflected throughout every step of their shopping journey,” said Matt Baer, CEO, Stitch Fix. “Vision helps bring this future to life by combining our deep understanding of each client's preferences with AI to offer personalized style inspiration. As we expand Vision, we're making it easier for clients to discover new styles they'll love, as well as find more ways to wear the pieces they already own."
