    New York City - The International Council of Shopping Centers set new attendance records at its New York National Deal Making Conference, moved for the first time to the Javits Convention Center, held December 8 and 9, and keynoted by Donald Trump. The two-day event at the new location nearly doubled the size of the space from prior years, and drew more than 400 exhibiting companies and 9,600 attendees, representing a new attendance record and a 26% increase compared to the 2013 event.  
  • Hooters plans real estate with Forum Analytics

    Atlanta - Hooters of America is partnering with Forum Analytics for a customized real estate planning and market-optimization solution. The collaboration will allow Hooters real estate operations make real-time, data-driven decisions by allowing users to share market data and sales forecasts, as well as impact estimates and site packet materials via SIMMS Online, Forum’s proprietary mapping, reporting and analytic platform.   
  • Wells Fargo celebrates grand opening at 120 Ninth Avenue

    New York - Stonehenge Partners announced that Wells Fargo has officially opened its 1,375-sq.-ft. space at 120 Ninth Avenue. Wells Fargo is the first tenant to take occupancy at the retail property, which offers almost an entire block of frontage on 9th Avenue between 17th and 18th streets.

    Purchase, N.Y. – A decline in the price of gasoline may be leading to a larger haul for many many people on Christmas morning. According to the latest MasterCard Advisors SpendingPulse, total retail sales without the automotive and gasoline sectors were up 3.6% in November 2014, reinforcing the dramatic decline in gasoline prices.  
  • Papa John’s accepts Google Wallet Instant Buy

    Louisville, Ky. – Payment just got faster for Papa John’s customers with Android phones. Papa John’s International Inc. will now begin accepting Google Wallet Instant Buy as a payment method for delivery and carry-out orders placed through the Android app.   Customers can press the "Buy with Google" button at checkout to complete their order. Papa John’s also announced that for the first time, digital and mobile channels account for more than 50% of its total U.S. sales.

  • Dunkin’ Donuts launches green building certification for its stores

    CANTON, Mass. - Dunkin’ Donuts is launching its own green building certification program, called DD Green, to help franchisees build sustainable, energy-efficient restaurants.    In conjunction with the announcement, the company is celebrating the grand opening of a DD Green certified Dunkin' Donuts restaurant in Long Beach, California. Dunkin' Donuts will work with franchisees and construction managers to build 100 new Dunkin' Donuts restaurants DD Green certified by the end of 2016.
