  • Papa Murphy’s continues Jacksonville expansion

    Vancouver, Wash. – Papa Murphy’s Holdings Inc. is setting its sights on Jacksonville, Florida. The pizza chain is opening four new franchised stores in Jacksonville on Aug. 27.

    These stores will join five other Papa Murphy’s units already located in the greater Jacksonville area.
     

  • Sam’s Club socializes with small businesses

    Bentonville, Ark. — Sam’s Club is “socializing” with small business owners in a new social media marketing campaign. The warehouse club division of Wal-Mart is launching #SmallBizHelp, an interactive social campaign that offers expert advice on starting and running a business.

  • PizzaRev cuts into Mexican market

    Los Angeles – Fast-casual pizza chain PizzaRev is cutting into the Mexican market. PizzaRev has signed a franchise agreement with Grupo Galería to bring PizzaRev to Mexico.

    The agreement calls for 20 PizzaRev restaurants to be developed throughout Mexico City and the states of Mexico, Nuevo León and Coahuila. The group is the largest Carl’s Jr. franchisee in Mexico and opened the first international store for PizzaRev parent company Buffalo Wild Wings outside of Canada.

  • Papa John’s gets ready for mobile communications

    Lexington, Ky. – Papa John’s Pizza is getting ready for mobile communications. The pizza chain has selected the Red e App mobile communications platform to increase operational efficiency across its organization.

    Red e App will give Papa John’s a dedicated channel to communicate and share files with corporate managers in more than 600 locations using a private, mobile-centric platform. Papa John’s is also planning to expand the service to franchise owners and operators in the future.

  • Papa Murphy’s in online upgrade

    Vancouver -- Online ordering is coming to Papa Murphy’s.

    Take-and-bake pizza company Papa Murphy’s Holdings has selected a Deloitte Digital, digital consulting agency within Deloitte Consulting, to enhance its online ordering and precision marketing efforts.

    Under the agreement, Deloitte Digital will redesign Papa Murphy's website, including adding advanced online ordering capabilities to improve the customer experience. Papa Murphy's plans to launch the new platform in the first half of 2016.

    Irvine, Calif. - Irvine Company Retail Properties is opening new restaurants across its Orange County portfolio in California, including Fashion Island, Irvine Spectrum Center, The Market Place, and several community centers.  

  • Papa Murphy’s minds the store

    Vancouver, Wash. – Papa Murphy’s Holdings Inc. is minding the store when it comes to marketing. The pizza chain has signed an agreement with marketing execution firm InnerWorkings Inc. to strengthen the impact of its point-of-purchase printed marketing materials and branded merchandise at the its more than 1,400 locations across the U.S.

  • Survey: Chick-fil-A satisfies, McDonald’s leaves empty feeling

    Ann Arbor, Mich. - Customers are less satisfied with fast food as their discretionary income improves and preferences shift in favor of quality over price.

    According to new data from the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI), two new entrants to ACSI debut at the top of limited-service (fast food) restaurants: Chick-fil-A and Chipotle Mexican Grill.
