Kohl's announces summer savings event
Kohl’s is the latest retailer to launch a summer promotion as Amazon's Prime Day approaches.
The department store retailer is bringing back its Summer Cyber Deals sale, which will offer discounts on merchandise both in-store and online. The sale, which will take place from July 8-11, include savings in categories such as home, apparel, beauty, footwear, accessories, swimwear, outdoor patio and more.
In addition to the four-day sale, this year's promotion will also include one-day deals. Shoppers can check daily throughout the event to discover new deals on summer outdoor toys, family apparel and home items from favorite brands including Nike, Under Armour and Izod.
Kohl's customers enrolled in Kohl’s Rewards loyalty program will have access to exclusive savings and perks throughout the event as well as free shipping on all online purchases. And for the first time during Summer Cyber Deals, rewards members will earn double rewards (15% Rewards) when they use their Kohl’s Card and 10% Rewards earned for all members regardless of payment method.
Additionally, all shoppers will earn $10 Kohl’s cash for every $50 spent on qualifying merchandise.
With the sale event, Kohl’s joins several other retailers who are launching summer promotions. Discount giant Walmart will hold its Walmart Deals sale from July 8-11, while Target’s Circle Week event will take place from July 7-13.
E-commerce giant Amazon’s famous Prime Day sale is slated to take place on July 16 and 17, offering major discounts for members of its Prime membership program.
Based in Menomonee Falls, Wis., Kohl’s operates more than 1,100 stores in 49 states.
