Home Depot, Ace Hardware offer October seasonal sales
October is becoming a very popular month for customers to get big discounts.
Following in the footsteps of October early holiday sales events such as Amazon Prime Big Deal Days (Oct. 8-9), Walmart Holiday Deals event (Oct. 8-13) and Target Circle Week (running through Oct. 12, and even fellow DIY home improvement retailer Lowe’s inaugural My Lowe’s Rewards Week promotion (Oct. 10-16), Home Depot and Ace Hardware are both running special online promotions in the next several days.

While Home Depot’s "Décor Days" promotion is open to all customers, Ace Hardware’s two-day special promotion is restricted to members of its loyalty program. More details of each extravaganza follow:
The Home Depot
Home Depot ‘s second annual fall Décor Days runs Oct. 3-7. This five-day online event offers discounts of up to 50% on home items, including furniture, small kitchen appliances, lighting, rugs, decorative storage.
In its promotion for the event, Home Depot specifically mentions the sale as an opportunity to get an early start in holiday shopping. The retailer also ran a spring version of Décor Days, timed for Mother’s Day, in May 2024 and a "How to March Madness" spring campaign timed for the Athletics Association (NCAA) and college basketball championship, as well as its longtime annual "Spring Black Friday" blockbuster in April 2024.

Ace Hardware
Ace Hardware, the world's largest retailer-owned hardware cooperative, is hosting a special, online-only sales event for members of its free Ace Rewards loyalty program on Tuesday, Oct. 8 and Wednesday, Oct. 9.
During this two-day event, Ace Rewards members will have access to exclusive discounts on a range of items including grills, power tools, paint, and lawn and garden supplies.
In addition, for the first time, Ace will offer free assembly and delivery on snowblowers and lawnmowers at $399 and up as part of its ongoing offers for rewards members.
"Our customers are at the heart of everything we do, and this special savings event is a way for us to show appreciation to our Ace Rewards members for their continued loyalty," said Kim Lefko, chief marketing officer at Ace Hardware. "We're excited to offer these exclusive savings and hope our members take full advantage of this two-day sale."
