City Furniture has fully integrated 3D content with its omnichannel customer experience.

Utilizing the 3D Cloud 360 Spins, WebAR, and City Furniture 3D Room Planner tools, customers can examine products from any angle with interactive 360 spins and see furniture in their space with augmented reality functionality.
In addition, shoppers can design entire rooms in 3D using the City Furniture 3D Room Planner solution.
"We partnered with 3D Cloud because they share our commitment to innovation, quality, and exceptional customer experiences," said Andrew Koenig, CEO of City Furniture. "Scaling 3D content is challenging, and having the right partner makes all the difference.”
City Furniture intends its new 3D experiences to increase engagement and eliminate guesswork, giving customers better tools to evaluate their options and collaborate with family and friends. According to the retailer, its 360 Spins tool drives an 89% interaction rate with an average engagement time of 55 seconds per product.
In addition, City Furniture data shows that the WebAR solution is activated 14% of the time when available, and 57% City Furniture 3D Room Planner users save their projects.
With the 3D Cloud Digital Asset Management System, a 3D product model is created once and deployed across the 360 Spins, WebAR, and 3D room planner solutions. City Furniture plans to deploy a collection of product configurators and sectional configurators in the near future.
"City Furniture is a clear leader in writing the future of furniture retail," said Beck Besecker, CEO and co-founder of 3D Cloud. "Their dedication to creating a better, more efficient, and more beautiful way to shop aligns perfectly with our mission—one 3D model, every application."
In a similar effort, rival furniture retailer La-Z-Boy formed a partnership with 3D product visualization platform Marxent and later upgraded it by rolling out next-gen 3D product configuration and appless augmented reality imaging technology on its website.
Based in South Florida, City Furniture operates more than 30 showrooms across Florida, as well as 14 Ashley Home Store showrooms as the retailer's Southeast and Southwest Florida licensee.
