    Sears is freshening up its offering through a new partnership.   The department store retailer now features the Regatta Great Outdoors collection in 11 New England-based stores. The brand, which is based in Manchester, England, features active, performance, outdoor, and leisure wear. This is the brand’s first U.S. retail store debut.  
  • Kitchen and bath products giant launches experiential retail concept

    Kohler Co. is debuting a retail format designed to showcase its full offering of products and offer on-site product immersion — literally.      The first-ever Kohler Experience Center (KEC), located in the Flatiron District of Manhattan, houses fully-functioning displays of Kohler's global product line — including showers, tubs, sinks and "intelligent" toilets — in what is a first for the brand. The center is open to trade design professionals and regular customers.

    A premium brand born from the celebration of colder climates, Mackage (Yorkdale Shopping Centre, Toronto) was named Store in the Year in the Retail Design Institute’s 46th annual International Store Design Competition. The awards were presented during a gala celebration on Wednesday, May 24, in New York City.
  • VIP lounges coming to brick-and-mortar retail?

    The retailer, which specializes in high-end sweets and confectionary treats, is teaming up with retail real estate company GGP Inc. to open 30 new locations.

    When Simon opened the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace in 1992, the Las Vegas Strip was still a place where one could find $2 blackjack tables and $1.99 steak dinners. Simon Properties took a chance, brought luxury retail to the Strip, and helped pioneer full-price retail on the famed boulevard.
