  • 365 by Whole Foods Market’s first partner doesn’t eat meat

    Whole Foods Market has chosen a fast-casual vegan eatery as the first partner in its “Friends of 365” program to allow like-minded, innovative businesses to establish their own independent retail spaces in 365 by Whole Foods Market stores.

    The retailer announced that by Chloe will be part of the first 365 location, which is scheduled to open in late May in the Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles. It will be the plant-based vegan brand’s first location outside of New York City.

  • PetSmart helps Major League Baseball go to the dogs

    Phoenix-based PetSmart and the Arizona Diamondbacks are teaming up to create the first-ever season-long dog-friendly ballpark in America.

    The retailer worked with the team on new PetSmart Patio, PetSmart Park and the Dog Days of Summer program, where dog-loving fans can bring their dogs to all 13 Sunday Diamondbacks home games in the 2016 season (the first game will be on April 10 vs. the Chicago Cubs).

  • Macy’s partners with Olympian Shaun White on clothing line

    Macy’s and Shaun White have joined forces to create a new and exclusive menswear line that reflects White’s adrenaline-pumping, eclectic style.

    The Gold Medal snowboarder and skateboarder has ended his eight-year partnership with Target and will launch a new collection, called WHT SPACE, at Macy's. The collection will consist of fashion-forward staples that are highly wearable and capture the faster sides of White’s style. The limited-time collection will be available in approximately 175 Macy’s stores and on macys.com in mid-June.

  • H&M goes omnichannel with Coachella collection

    Just in time for Coachella, H&M is teaming up once again with the world-famous California festival by creating a co-branded coed collection.

    The H&M Loves Coachella collection will launch in the U.S. in stores on March 24 with a sneak peek online on March 23. The Coachella festival is held yearly in Southern California in April.

  • World to get glimpse of Canadian cool at summer Olympics

    The contingent of athletes representing Canada at this summer’s Olympic games in Brazil will be feeling strong and confident during the opening ceremonies thanks to a new design deal announced by Hudson’s Bay Company.

    Hudson's Bay, Canada's iconic retailer, announced that Dean and Dan Caten, Dsquared2 will design the outfit for Team Canada for the Opening Ceremonies at the upcoming 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Rio.

  • Walmart bottled water convoy heading to Flint

    Walmart and three of the nation’s largest bottled water suppliers are coming to the aid of Flint, Michigan, residents who lack access to safe drinking water after the municipal water supply became tainted with lead.

    Walmart, Coca-Cola, Nestlé and PepsiCo are sending 176 truckloads of water to Flint – roughly 6.5 million bottles – which is an amount estimated to meet the daily needs of more than 10,000 children for the rest of the year.

    Pottery Barn Kids is looking to attract more new parents by unveiling its first nursery collection.

    The new collection is designed in collaboration with celebrated celebrity stylists and fashion design team Emily Current and Meritt Elliott. The collection includes the XO Nursery that features a glamorous black and white color palette, graphic prints and patterns and bold accents. The Star Nursery features dreamy pink and neutral colors with layers of soft denim and gold accents.

    Dillard’s Inc. is giving more than $850,000 to local Chapters of Ronald McDonald House Charities after selling its exclusive Southern Living Christmas Cookbook.

    For the eighth time, Dillard’s offered a special custom edition of the Southern Living Christmas Cookbook to benefit RMHC. This exclusive, 288-page hardbound cookbook is filled with fabulous holiday recipes, color photos, menus, decorating tips and entertaining ideas.
