  • Revel Systems partners with local retailers on pop-up in San Francisco

    San Francisco -- Revel Systems, a leading provider of iPad point-of-sale solutions, has opened its first pop-up store, in historic Ghirardelli Square, San Francisco. The initiative is a joint effort between Revel Systems and PopUpShopUp. The Revel pop-up is designed as a multi-use space hosting a variety of QSR & retail businesses that Revel has invited to be given the opportunity to have a physical store for the first time.

  • Citizen Watch to open Times Square flagship store

    Lyndhurst, N.J. -- Citizen Watch Company, a leader in the mid-priced watch segment, will will a global flagship store in Times Square, New York, on Broadway in November. This will be the first Citizen Watch global retail concept store in North America.

    The store will measure more than 1,300 sq. ft. and offer the full Citizen product assortment. Citizen has hired New York based architectural firm Mapos LLC.

    Atlanta – Manhattan Associates is releasing new mobile and transportation management solutions. The supply chain technology vendor announced the new applications at its Momentum 2014 conference in Hollywood, Florida, May 5-8.

  • GNC says bad press took a bite out of Q1 results

    Washington, D.C. -- Import volume at the nation’s major retail container ports is expected to increase 3.5% in May as negotiators prepare to begin talks on a new contract for West Coast dockworkers, according to the monthly Global Port Tracker report released by the National Retail Federation and Hackett Associates.
