Amazon rolls out holiday benefits for Buy with Prime shoppers
Amazon is being extra generous this holiday season to Prime members who make purchases via its "Buy with Prime" program.
In April 2022, Amazon introduced "Buy with Prime," which enables U.S.-based Prime members to directly shop online stores on its third-party marketplace. Initially, the feature was only available for third-party retailers using the Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) hosted logistics service.
Since then, the e-tailer has made Buy with Prime widely available to U.S.-based Amazon retailers, integrated it with the BigCommerce and Shopify e-commerce platforms, integrated it with TikTok ads, and added cart functionality for customers and 24/7 post-order customer service support for sellers.

Now, Buy with Prime is rolling out additional holiday deals, exclusive promotions from brands, and opportunities to earn rewards for Prime members who participate. These include:
- Exclusive promotions up to 80% off: Through Monday, Dec. 2 (Cyber Monday), Amazon will offer numerous special limited-time discounts on Buy with Prime-enabled items that Prime members can redeem by selecting the Buy with Prime checkout option when purchasing from participating businesses. - The option to use “Shop with Points” balance on Buy with Prime purchases: Prime members can now apply their points from eligible credit cards to pay for part or all their Buy with Prime orders, the same way they do for purchases directly from Amazon.
The holidays are underway at Amazon
Amazon has already been having a busy holiday season. The company has hosted two early holiday events – Prime Big Deal Days and the Holiday Beauty Haul, and has now kicked off its Black Friday week and Cyber Monday sales events running through Monday, Dec. 2.
Amazon says it will offer millions of deals across more than 35 categories, including electronics, home, beauty, and fashion. And for the first time this year, customers will be able to visit Amazon’s Virtual Holiday Shop.
The company is leveraging its Amazon Beyond 3D immersive platform to provide 3D visual and interactive content within the virtual store environment that includes seasonal music, animations and a guided shopping experience.
Other special Amazon online holiday shopping features include a dedicated storefront for items from small businesses, including Black-owned, woman-owned, and military family-owned businesses; as well as a curated Oprah’s Favorite Things gift guide.
