Amazon kicks off Holiday Beauty Haul

Amazon Holiday Beauty Haul
Amazon Beauty Haul runs through Sunday, Nov. 3.

Amazon continues its early holiday promotional efforts with a two-week event focused on beauty products.

For the fourth year, Amazon is hosting its Holiday Beauty Haul—a shopping event for beauty customers across gifting, new arrivals, premium, skin care, makeup, hair care, personal care, fragrance, nail, men’s grooming and Allure “Best of Beauty” winners.

The promotion is now live on the Amazon site and runs through Sunday, Nov. 3, 2024 and features thousands of curated deals, coupons, and gift sets on beauty products from brands including bareMinerals, Buxom, Clinique, COSRX, Dr.Jart+, Dyson, Jack Black, Kiehl’s, Lancôme, Maybelline, Moroccanoil, Revlon, Smashbox, Sol de Janeiro, Tula Skincare, Tatcha, Viktor&Rolf and Youth to the People.

More Holiday Beauty Haul deals will be dropping throughout the two-week shopping event. In addition, influencer Natalie Negrotti hosts a streaming Amazon Live event featuring top products from the promotion at 11 a.m. ET on Monday, Oct. 21.

In addition, until Thursday, Oct. 31, 2024, customers can save 10% on select toys if they spend $25. Amazon says it is planning more seasonal deal events ahead of Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

Amazon has biggest October sale ever

The Holiday Beauty Haul comes on the heels of Prime Big Deal Days (Oct. 8-9), which according to Amazon was its biggest October shopping event ever with more Prime members shopping than the 2023 edition with higher sales and more items sold during the two-day event than any previous October shopping event.

In an email to Chain Store Age, an Amazon representative said independent sellers on its platform, most of which are small-to-medium-sized businesses, saw record sales compared to the 2023 event.

Globally, Amazon says Prime members saved more than $1 billion across millions of deals, including on seasonal merchandise and gifts.

Interestingly, data and analysis for the entirety of Prime Big Deal Days recently emailed to Chain Store Age by Salesforce indicated that overall U.S. sales growth outside Amazon declined 5% from the 2023 edition of the event. However, analysis exclusively provided to Chain Store Age by Spreetail indicates the event had a positive “halo effect” for Walmart and Target.
