Discount grocer Aldi is embarking on the next wave of its coast-to-coast expansion.

On July 1, Apple announced it would re-close 30 more stores it had already re-opened during the COVID-19 crisis.

Apple is re-closing more stores, including 15 in California, in states where COVID-19 is surging.

Raley’s has opened a specialty format focused on organics, nutrition and education.

Though pandemic-plagued shopping center landlords all complained of some national retail chains that refused to pay rent at all, only 12% of those willing to post their monthly payments asked for abatements.

With COVID-19 cases steadily declining and states allowing non-essential retailers to re-open, retail centers are finally starting to get back to normal.

Retailers will pay a price for not paying attention to in-store health and safety measures related to COVID-19.
