    WESTBOROUGH, Mass. — BJ's Membership Club is celebrating its 200th store opening with its latest location at 5200 Red Tip Road in Fayetteville, N.C. The club will feature a fresh bakery, BJ's Cafe, deli, optical services, rotisserie chicken, tire center, gas station and Verizon Wireless Kiosk. 

  • Colgate teams up with Stacy Keibler for Make-A-Wish

    NEW YORK — To mark the launch of Colgate Total Advanced Pro-Shield Mouthwash, Colgate will team up with actress and television host Stacy Keibler to try to break the Guinness World Record for most people using mouthwash simultaneously, currently at 1,061.

    Called "A Wish for a Swish," the event will be held at noon EDT Tuesday, June 25 in New York City's Times Square.

    Results of “Growth Strategies: Unlocking the Power of the Consumer” indicate that despite generally slowing retail net sales growth in 2012, food, beverage and household products companies experienced positive net sales growth of 7%t, 5.5% and 3.2%, respectively.

  • Burlington benefits from cold Q1

    BURLINGTON, N.J. — Burlington Coat Factory was the beneficiary of an unseasonably cool first quarter that resulted in soft sales at some other retailers.

    The company’s net sales increased 8.4% to nearly $1.1 billion for the quarter from $982 million for the quarter ended April 28, 2012. Comparative store sales increased 3.4%.
