    FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Chico's announced that Celia Rao Visconti has been named SVP marketing for Chico's. Rao Visconti will report directly to Cinny Murray, brand president of Chico's and will oversee the brand's marketing strategy and initiatives.

  • Ann Taylor Q4 profit jumps; changing corporate name to Ann Inc.

    New York — Ann Taylor Stores Corp. On Friday posted a bigger-than-expected quarterly profit on improved sales. The company, which said it will change its corporate name to Ann Inc. to better reflect its multichannel focus, also forecast strong first-quarter sales.

    GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Shopko announced that it has renovated its e-commerce site to provide a better shopping experience for its customers. 

    According to the company, the upgraded site features improved layout and navigation, user-friendly viewing from a variety of devices, including mobile and tablet, update product search capabilities and the ability to shop popular national brands from the homepage with just one click.

  • Walmart rolls out ‘Pick Up Today’ program nationally

    Bentonville, Ark. -- Wal-Mart Stores announced Thursday that it will launch a national rollout of its “Pick Up Today” program later in March, expanding its multichannel offerings to allow shoppers to purchase items online and receive free same-day pickup at a local Walmart store.
