Chico's names SVP marketing

FORT MYERS, Fla.-- Chico's announced that Celia Rao Visconti has been named SVP marketing for Chico's. Rao Visconti will report directly to Cinny Murray, brand president of Chico's and will oversee the brand's marketing strategy and initiatives.

"As we move the Chico's brand forward and increase our presence in the market, we continue to develop innovative marketing initiatives to further connect with our consumer," said Murray. "Celia's extensive background in retail marketing will play an integral role in this strategy and we are thrilled to have her on board."

Rao Visconti joins Chico's from New York and Company where she served as EVP and chief marketing officer and oversaw all marketing, public relations and digital marketing. Rao Visconti also held the position of SVP marketing and communications for Andrew Marc, Inc. and prior to that, marketing roles with Tommy Hilfiger USA and Giorgio Armani.
