  • Square and Epicor lead mobile POS software rankings, according to IHL Group

    Franklin, Tenn. -- Software companies Square and Epicor lead the fast growing Mobile POS software market in North America according to new research from IHL Group, a global retail research and advisory firm.  

    Mobile POS installs are expected to grow by 110% this year as more retailers replace electronic cash registers and POS terminals with mobile devices.

    Ten Target stores in the San Francisco area are experimenting with a new mobile shopping app called Curbside, which promises to deliver the next generation of commerce.

    Curbside launched its mobile app this week to make finding, buying and getting the things shoppers need from their favorite local stores faster and easier than ever before, according to the company. Target is among the retailers whose stores are participating in the Curbside app.

  • Dollar General offers ‘Fast Way to Save’ digital coupon program

    Goodlettsville, Tenn. - Dollar General’s new Fast Way to Save program is now available in stores and online through Nov. 15. The program utilizes Dollar General’s new DG Digital Coupon platform powered by Coupons.com and offers an additional $100 in digital coupon discounts to Dollar General customers.

It allows users of other apps to earn Balance Rewards loyalty program points for making healthy choices, with rewards points redeemed for merchandise in-store or online.
