  • Visa, Verifone partner on omnichannel payment

    San Francisco - Visa Inc. and Verifone are launching a partnership that will enable retailers to offer their customers a more streamlined, secure purchase experience across digital and physical environments. As part of the partnership, Verifone will connect its POS gateway to Visa’s CyberSource global merchant payment management platform.

    This will provide retailers with a single platform to protect customer payment data, mitigate fraud, and integrate digital and offline payment systems.

  • Neiman Marcus to be shoppable on Pinterest

    Neiman Marcus customers will soon be able to purchase their favorite finds via Buyable Pins on Pinterest.

    The retailer announced that millions of pins on Pinterest later this month will become buyable, offering a simple and secure way for customers to buy their favorite finds. In just a few taps, on any iOS enabled device, a customer can buy the products he or she has Pinned or discovered. This service will be solely offered in the U.S. at this time.

  • Office Depot introduces Apple Watch app

    Boca Raton, Fla. - Office Depot Inc. is launching a new free Office Depot app for Apple Watch. Features include: voice-activated search for products, an ink and toner finder, and an Office Depot and OfficeMax retail store locator.

    The new app also provides voice-activated product search, ink level checks of Wifi-enabled HP computers, and daily deals.
