Lowe’s taps Ford Motor vet for a new role

Lowe’s is strengthening its marketing leadership team.

Lisa Schoder will join the home improvement retailer in a new role as VP, integrated media and partnerships, effective August 10. She will report Marisa Thalberg, executive VP, chief brand and marketing officer, and be responsible for Lowe’s communications channel planning, spanning mass broadcast to digital demand. Schoder also will lead strategy for relationships with key marketing partnerships, including the chain’s multi-year partnership with the NFL.
 
Lisa joins Lowe’s from Ford Motor Company, where she spent the past 21 years of her career, most recently as the head of U.S. media, digital optimization and multicultural marketing. Lisa is an advertiser advisory board member for #SeeHer, an initiative led by the Association of National Advertisers and supported by Lowe’s to increase accurate portrayals of women and girls in U.S. advertising.
