Lowe’s debuts in-home maintenance services subscription plan

Lowe's is introducing a new optional benefit to members of its MyLowe’s Rewards loyalty program, but it's not free.

The home improvement giant is launching an annual subscription plan — called HomeCare+ — that includes two in-home visits per year, with up to seven home maintenance services performed at each appointment by local Lowe's store associates The plan costs $99 a year.

Subscribers can schedule visits in-store or through Lowes.com. The available ervices include:

  • Electric dryer vent cleaning;
  • HVAC air filter replacement;
  • Refrigerator water filter replacement;
  • Electric water heater flush;
  • Garage door lubrication;
  • Smoke and carbon monoxide detector battery replacement; and
  • Light bulb replacement.

MyLowe's Rewards members enrolled in the subscription plan also save 5% on select items needed to complete services, including HVAC filters, light bulbs, batteries and refrigerator water filters. They also automatically receive gold status, which is the highest tier in the free MyLowe’s Rewards program. HomeCare+ gift cards will be available later this year.

Other benefits Lowe’s has introduced for its loyalty program members include the Lowe's Digital Home Platformwhich gives members access to free, personalized information about products in their homes, including warranties and manuals, maintenance suggestions and how-to content, recommended subscriptions and replacement parts.

And in February 2026, the retailer unveiled MyLowe’s Rewards Kids Club, which includes free, monthly DIY projects supported by Lowe's red vest associates as well as new digital badge and kids profile tools.

Lowe’s began offering loyalty benefits with March 2022 introduction of the Lowe's MVPs Pro Rewards and Partnership Program for industry professionals, which was augmented with a suite of exclusive technology features in April 2023.

Based in Mooresville, N.C., Lowe's Companies Inc. operates more than 1,700 home improvement stores, 530 branches and 130 distribution centers.
