Lowe’s launches kids’ rewards platform
A home improvement giant is scaling up its family-oriented offerings.
Lowe’s Companies Inc. is introducing MyLowe’s Rewards Kids Club, which expands its MyLowe's Rewards program for customers that was introduced in 2024 and builds on its two-decade-plus kids workshops program.
Offerings include free, monthly DIY projects supported by Lowe's red vest associates; new digital badge and kids profile tools that allow families to track progress, celebrate milestones and manage participation for multiple kids; and small in-store surprises like free organic lollipops and access to free member gifts.
Families can track kids' progress through digital badges and manage workshop registration for multiple children within a single MyLowe's Rewards account on the Lowe’s site or mobile app.
Registration is now open for Kids Club workshops. The next Kids Club workshop will take place at Lowe's stores nationwide on Saturday, Feb. 21.
Lowe’s began offering loyalty benefits with March 2022 introduction of the Lowe's MVPs Pro Rewards and Partnership Program for industry professionals, which was augmented with a suite of exclusive technology features in April 2023.
The retailer has also long offered special workshops and in-store events aimed at children. In addition, in 2023 it introduced an in-store kids' birthday party program at select stores. Designed for kids five years of age and up, “Build A Birthday” parties can be scheduled for Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Kids can choose to build projects such as wooden castles, race cars, custom wall shelves and more. The package includes all required tools and materials, along with safety goggles, aprons and party construction hats.
"MyLowe's Rewards Kids Club is about creating real moments of connection for families," said Amanda Bailey, Lowe's VP, customer marketing & loyalty. "By launching Kids Club, we're giving the whole family more reasons to visit Lowe's, build together and stay engaged over time — pairing hands-on experiences with the support of our red vest associates, who inspire creativity in a workshop or create a moment of joy when handing out lollipops while their parents shop the aisles of our stores. It's moments like this that create relationships that help turn everyday visits into moments that feel personal, human and rooted in our communities."
Based in Mooresville, N.C. Lowe's Companies Inc. operates more than 1,700 home improvement stores, 530 branches and 130 distribution centers.
