Home Depot adds partner reward offers to pro loyalty program
The Home Depot Inc. is opening its loyalty offering for home improvement professionals to third-party perks.
Home Depot initially launched Pro Extra rewards program in 2012 and revamped it with new membership tiers and benefits in 2023. The offering is designed for industry professionals, a customer group the retailer refers to as “Pros.”

The retailer is now kicking off partner offers from national brands including 7-Eleven, Jimmy John's, Tecovas and Rosie’s AI Answering Service, with the goal of supporting members throughout a typical home improvement workday.
- 7-Eleven: A $0.25 per gallon discount on gasoline up to five fills.
- Jimmy John’s: Savings on $20 of orders of $100 or more.
- Tecovas – A 20% discount on work boots.
- Rosie’s AI Answering Service – A seven-day free trial and two months free of Rosie’s Professional Plan or Scale Plan AI business management tools that capture incoming calls.
Pro Xtra partner offers will refresh quarterly and are available within the Rewards Hub on The Home Depot mobile app or online dashboard. Offers are available to all members regardless of spend or membership tier.
Home Depot also recently refreshed the Pro Xtra Rewards Hub to centralize all member benefits in one place, including partner offers, discounts, paint rewards, business tools and tier benefits. The retailer says it selected its launch offers based on direct feedback from its Pro customers and will continue to reflect four key categories: food and beverage, fuel and fleet, lifestyle and travel, and business management.
Home Depot serves pro customers
Home Depot has been making a concerted effort to obtain the business of home improvement industry professionals. Some other examples in the past 12 months or so include:
- A real-time delivery tracking tool for big and bulky deliveries.
- Material List Builder AI, an application designed to help professional renovators, remodelers, builders and specialty tradespeople create actionable project material lists within minutes.
- An AI solution called Blueprint Takeoffs, which is designed to provide professional renovators, remodelers and builders with faster, more accurate and cost-effective material lists and estimates – also known as "takeoffs" – for single-family project blueprints.
- The acquisition of GMS Inc. through its specialty trade distribution subsidiary, SRS Distribution Inc. GMS is a leading distributor of specialty building products including drywall, ceilings, steel framing and other complementary products related to remodeling and construction projects in residential and commercial end markets.
- Teaming up with StrataTech Education Group (StrataTech), an operator of skilled trade schools, to expand its Path to Pro program, which aims to educate more people in the skilled trades and help them find careers in the home improvement industry.
- Opening four new distribution centers geared toward serving pro customers in Detroit, southern Los Angeles, San Antonio and Toronto. The centers stock large, bulky merchandise such as lumber, insulation and roofing shingles.
- "True partnership means understanding everything it takes to keep a Pro's business moving," said Molly Battin, senior VP and chief marketing officer for The Home Depot. "We’re continuously evolving our Pro Xtra program to deliver meaningful benefits that help Pros save time and money so they can focus on supporting their teams and customers.”
The Home Depot says it will continue to add new features within the platform to help provide a frictionless, interconnected experience when managing projects of all sizes and complexities.
At the end of the fourth quarter of 2025, Atlanta-based The Home Depot operated a total of 2,359 retail stores and more than 1,250 SRS locations across all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, 10 Canadian provinces and Mexico.
