eBay is partnering with Condé Nast.

eBay is expanding its resale efforts in a new collaboration with a global media company.

The online giant is entering a multi-year partnership with magazine publisher Condé Nast that will see eBay serve as the “official pre-loved partner” of Condé Nast. The initiative will span Condé Nast brands including Vogue, GQ, Vanity Fair, Wired, Architectural Digest, Teen Vogue and Glamour across the U.S., U.K. and Germany.

This expanded partnership builds on a series of collaborations including three consecutive Met Galas; Vogue World events in Paris, Hollywood, and London; and the inaugural Vogue Vintage Market.

“By partnering with Condé Nast, we’re reshaping circular fashion,” said Alexis Hoopes, global VP of fashion at eBay. "By leveraging a historic influence on the fashion industry, and eBay's selection and trusted marketplace, we are placing pre-loved at the epicenter of the fashion conversation, making it both sustainable and aspirational."

Looking ahead, eBay and Condé Nast will continue to integrate across events and expand storytelling across Condé Nast’s platforms. The companies say they are planning future initiatives which will broaden the partnership beyond fashion and luxury.

"We are thrilled to evolve our partnership with eBay and champion the pre-loved fashion movement," said Doug Grinspan, chief business officer, U.S.sales & global key accounts, Condé Nast. "This collaboration reflects our shared vision to inspire a new generation to embrace vintage and pre-loved as a defining expression of personal style. Together, we will tell compelling stories that celebrate fashion’s rich history while empowering our audiences to discover and shop authenticated treasures on eBay."

eBay bolsters presence in sustainable fashion

eBay has been expanding its circular fashion activities in the past 18 months. In October 2024, eBay Ventures, the company’s venture capital arm, increased its investment in circular fashion start-ups with the target of a total of $1.2 million by the end of 2025.

In addition, the retailer launched "eBay Endless Runway" in September 2024 and brought it back in September 2025 featuring new partnerships with top fashion designers and ts own pre-loved runway shows — shoppable in real time via the retailer’s eBay Live livestream shopping platform — during New York Fashion Week and London Fashion Week with resident stylists Brie Welch and Amy Bannerman.

In May 2024, eBay added a click-to-resell feature for select apparel products, building the capability into Ceritlogo AI-based product smart tags to support its “resell on eBay” feature that enables users to list their clothing on eBay in a couple of clicks of a button.

eBay acquired Certilogo in July 2023 to aid its product authentication efforts.

And in March 2024, eBay said it was building on the luxury consignment service for designer handbags it launched in September 2023 with a new consignment offering for luxury apparel products. The service provides users direct access to expert sellers who will list and sell their luxury apparel items on their behalf for a fee.

Founded in 1995 in San Jose, Calif., eBay Inc. enabled $75 billion of gross merchandise volume in 2024.
