    Walldorf, Germany – SAP is releasing the new InfiniteInsight solution. Based on patented automation technology from KXEN, an SAP company, the solution is designed to provide businesses the ability to deploy predictive analytics across the enterprise.

    Capabilities of SAP InfiniteInsight include analytical data sets for predictive modeling, automated modeling, optimized scoring equations, and factory capability for model refreshes as needed.

  • 99 Cents Q2 comps increase

    99 Cents Only has spent the last six months upgrading its systems and procedures related to accounting for merchandise inventories. In the meantime, and ahead of its second quarter results for fiscal 2014, the company has begun taking physical inventories at its stores on a SKU-level basis for the first time.

    The new IT system, built on SAP, will allow the company to track inventory in real time at each retail store on a perpetual basis by SKU. Implementation is underway and the company expects to be fully operational by the end of fiscal 2015.

    Waldorf, Germany – Retailers see a need for functional competencies leaning toward technology and data skills, even more than general business and people management. But a new survey of 76 retail managers from top retailers conducted by SAP during the recent SAP Retail Forum North America in Dallas, Texas revealed that 84% of retailers are worried that it will be challenging to find employees with these skills.
